Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)
The CMAA is the administrative counterpart to the CCMA. It certifies competence in patient scheduling, medical records management, insurance and billing, and office communications without requiring the clinical skills (phlebotomy, EKG, injections) tested on the CCMA. Many clinics prefer candidates who hold both credentials.
